Re: Is Amanita safe at any age?
I remember Amanita Dreamer saying that she advises against taking the Amanita if you are under 25 because the brain isn't yet fully developed and there could be complications. Is this still the generally agreed upon sentiment? Do we have any science on this topic? Just thinking about it I feel it i...

Re: *****Lactic Acid Creates 3rd Active Compound*****
Very interesting topic! I´ve noticed different and happy cheerful effects having cacao (fermented by lactic acid producing bacteria) in milk decoction after drinking a AM tea once.
I think i read somewhere that in precolumbian Mesoamerica both cacao and amanitas were used in combination.

I wouldn´t toss them away. Maybe you can elaborate a tincture or alcohol maceration for external use with those.

Re: "Muscimol = sedative, Ibotenic acid = stimulant" - Is this true?
I have read this claim before - That Muscimol is sedative and Ibotenic acid is stimulant - and, after asking some questions on Reddit, I had someone message me saying the same thing. Is there any truth to this? Thank you Ibotenic acid acts as an excitatory rather than a stimulant i think. It acts o...

Re: Why is muscimol so desired?
I don´t know much, but it seems to be that muscimol works on the gabaergic system and ibotenic acid on the cholynergic system. Muscimol promotes some kind of calmness and the ibotenic acid works more like a nervous excitatory.
