Re: Alcohol plus Amanita May Not Be the Best Idea
Well dang maybe I should have watched more of your videos. But seriously, it was not the worse messed up I've been experimenting on myself, probably will just drop the amanita and stick to alcohol as it seems there is no legal substance that can actually quench the fire of my soul -- alcohol just du...

Alcohol plus Amanita May Not Be the Best Idea
Here's the little story of a mad science experiment gone wrong! Afternoon Day 1, have a few days off work so decide to further the noble cause of mad science again. Every other time I ate Amanita muscaria dried it was a tiny dime size piece. This time I ate half of one of the small caps plus half th...

Re: Trial and Error
Those gram levels are suspiciously high for no serious effects... I'd think you'd go to the shadow realm (lol) from 14 grams. (Then again, maybe I was thinking ounces were in the other peoples posts). I break a chunk off the corner of one of my dried AM.'s like one gram max and start to yawn after e...

Re: Dried Amanita muscaria actually tastes good
The local A. persicina/guessowi (the pink/orange centered muscaria) is out of season here (although I found it several times before I found A.D.'s site in this state) so I ended up ordering online from a well-reviewed source. Dried caps arrived, still orangish with notable white spots on the top. F...

Re: Dried Amanita muscaria actually tastes good
Cool, thanks for the advice! I am wondering if it will have a unpredictable effect like ethanol does on me, either that it makes me too hyped up or puts me to sleep, people seem to have varied experiences but given that muscaria has a rich history of use by people around the world it at least seems ...

Re: Let's introduce ourselves.
Hello all. I'm currently living and doing contract work in Japan. I'm grateful to have found this online community! I recently learned about AM this year mid-season so had no luck finding any. Not too sure if AM even grows out here on mainland Japan... Anyways, already scoping out multiple areas th...

Re: Rhodocollybia maculata a new legal salvia like psychedelic mushroom containing Collybolide K-Opioid agonist
I would be careful with anything containing opioid related substances, it's the number one addiction that has a bunch of legal gateway drugs but the need to always go higher on the dose and people end up going from poppy seed tea or hydrocodone they were prescribed for a broken arm up to heroin or f...

Re: Ambrosial Wine Experiments
Really sounds like the cutting edge! I had never even heard of such a thing. One other cutting edge thing I read in a mushroom encyclopedia said that there were calocybe and inocybe species that contain far more muscimol than A. muscaria, but based on some cursory searching looks like this may have ...

Are you serious, is that muscaria mycelium in the prune juice? Not like some sort of mold? If the mycelium can be grown, would it theoretically have the same effects as the caps?
