If you are at all interested in fleece cultivation, the stems can be used as a source. As long as you dont dry them too hot (the cooler the better!), the fleece will grow out of them.

Re: Fleece cultivation
Those black dots look like Aspergillus Niger, are you sure its psychoactive? There are many hundreds and probably thousands of species of black spored molds. Before I was successful in growing the fleece, I had cultivated a handful of other molds with black spores that were definitely Not Psychoact...

Re: Fleece cultivation
I've made a grail! Honey water and a clay plant pot without a hole. I took a picture on day three of my fuzzy white friends emerging(today) tried to upload but my phones to slow! Yay! So excited. That's wonderful! Where did you find a flowerpot without the hole in the bottom? I've never had success...

Re: Big News
Wonderful news! Once I can get a good sample of fleece I will let you know! I'm very curious about what is truly contained within the fleece samples... I'm wondering if it is possible that there are precursor chemicals to Ibotenic Acid contained within it. I'm not versed in the scienctific jargon so...

Re: Farewell Ambrosia Society
IT'S BACK! I discovered today that the Ambrosia Society's website has come back. While I am personally very happy about it, I realize that I feel it is important to be independent in our efforts to understand the fleece. That website is a repository of old, yet valuable knowlege. I feel this forum i...

Re: Research into the Ambrosia Society Fleece.
I would just like to update you guys that I have not had good luck growing the fleece these past few weeks. Everything keeps becoming too contaminated for good use. I will keep trying!
Also, the Ambrosia Society's website came back from the dead!

Re: Research into the Ambrosia Society Fleece.
Thank you guys so much! I suppose I will do my best here to make up a bunch of pure fleece, and let everyone know when its ready! Hopefully in a week or 2 I should have a nice batch ready for the next step. I'll try and document my process for everyone.

Re: Research into the Ambrosia Society Fleece.
Thank you so much Amanita Research for making this thread, i am one who is very unsatisfied with the way things have been left regarding the research into the mold known as the fleece. I am willing to donate samples for analysis, but just understand I would need time to prepare them. I'm just a guy ...

Re: Farewell Ambrosia Society
What I would really like to see happen now and here on this forum, since we started as a science based place to help stop the spread of mis-information and to bring some good solid information forward, is this.... I would like to see the talk of fleece being amanita mycellium come to an end. I don'...

Re: The Ambrosia Society
I can't speak for them, but if I were them, and I cared one bit about preserving valuable history, I'd be grateful for someone like you wanting to make an archive. I hadn't realized you had already made one. Thank you so much for doing that!
