I've always been a night owl and have perpetuall...

Re: Cloudy tea with whitish stringy goo: Is it okay?

Amanita pantherina?

I was just browsing through my photo library and came across these photos from a couple years ago. Long before I knew to be looking for these. Do these look like Amanita pantherina?

cultivating Amanita

I can't imagine I'm the first person to ask this here, but the search function of this forum isn't working.

Does anyone know of a reliable way to cultivate Amanita at home or is she as fickle as the Chanterelles and simply must be found in the wild?

tracking your Amanita sleep quality with sleep tracking gadgets?

I've been using Amanita lately to greatly improve my sleep, but I don't have anything to let me measure this objectively. I just feel way better after just a 1/4 tsp or so in a cup of tea before bed. Has anyone used a sleep tracking device like an Oura ring or a Fitbit to measure the time you spend ...

How on earth do you measure 1/8th of a tsp? That is such a tiny amount.

Growing in a graveyard so if it is how appropriate
Nope. Pretty certain that is a Shaggy Parasol. They're quite common around here in western WA state. I typically find them growing out of discarded lawn trimmings and/or piles of leaves.
