Re: Research into the Ambrosia Society Fleece.
I say the sample should be pure fleece if possible. If there is any trace of actual Amanita in the sample it is pointless as it will only breed more mistrust. I'm happy to help with logistics and costs to a point, but quite frankly I really don't want to grow this stuff myself so I will contribute m...

Re: Farewell Ambrosia Society
What I would really like to see happen now and here on this forum, since we started as a science based place to help stop the spread of mis-information and to bring some good solid information forward, is this.... Thoughts on filtration
So since starting my work with Amanita Muscaria Pantherina and Regalis I have been most focused on tinctures. I have focused heavily on getting them as filtered and particulate free as possible. Re: Rhodocollybia maculata a new legal salvia like psychedelic mushroom containing Collybolide K-Opioid agonist
If this thing is anything like salvia it won't help you get off of opiods. This has action at the kappa opiod receptor not the mu one that opiod painkillers do. But just because this contains a chemical similar to salvinorin a also doesn't mean it will have the same effects

Re: Understanding Ibotenic Acid Synthesis In Amanita
Far above my head but still super interesting. I wonder if the fungus in vietnam with ibo has similar enzymes/genes/RNA etc whatever they were talking about that they identified in amanita species with ibo and didnt find in amanita without ibo.

Re: Potential Uses of Ibotenic Acid
I wonder if the positive topical effects are largely from ibo whereas the ingested positive effects largely come from muscimol. No science to back this up just a thought
