Heavy dose, need someone to look after you, preferably a strong person (mentally and physically.)
Light dose, I don't see the point of involving anyone else, but it's up to you.
It is nothing like psilocybin.

Yeah, ... well ... I can't really comment on that.

Russula is what I was going to say, too. I'd expect them to have an unusual brittle texture.

So far most of the studies I find are showing little to no conversion of ibo to musc on drying which is why it's the control. He uses it as the control in this patent. Do you have a study showing drying at ambient temps convert anything significant? I would love to see it. No you wouldn't. Ha ha. T...

There are a couple different ways that fermentation is interesting to people, it seems to me. One of them is when we take advantage of some particular organism's fermentation chemistry, to get one of the products. Ethyl alcohol and carbon dioxide for example are both produced by yeast fermentation o...

while drying of the fungal tisue has been reported to convert a portion of the ibotenic acid to muscimol, such conversion is incomplete and highly variable according to sample variation and conditions. Indeed, a relatively low conversion rate of only 30% is typical by merely drying fungal tisue, le...

Not really adding much here, just that it's funny - in the 2nd research article clipping above, the excitement is over binding tritium into the molecule, a radioactive isotope of hydrogen. That must be what "3H2O" refers to. (And there's mention of D2O, where the isotope is deuterium, aka "heavy wat...

"Your mileage may vary." This is a product of nature, so they can be different from one sample to the next, even when they're more or less the same taxonomically, and what I've eaten comes from the other side of the world here in western North America. Also different people react differently. That s...

For me, the "psychedelic" connection is an unfortunate error. People who go to the fly agaric looking for a psychedelic experience are typically disappointed, and it's too easy to make this mistake even without people promoting it in this way. It does have the potential to induce vivid alternate-con...

Re: Optimal muscimol extraction methods
I read that the lemon tek can cause conversion of muscimol into muscarine in the body. My opinion is that if you can recall where you read that, never believe anything else you read from that source. 1. Muscarine is a significantly different molecule from muscimol, enough that conversion between th...
