Re: Wiki almost ready! Any suggestions?
Thanks. I'd still like to structure it in a more tailored way, specific to this forum. The wiki articles will only serve as seed articles for the pages we want to use. If anyone wants to give me a list of subjects they think we should cover ping me a message and I'll include them in the wiki. Minor ...

Re: The Ambrosia Society's Fleece
Hey Mcpato to, thanks for all that info. Very interesting, it sounds similar to all the other accounts that I've heard online. It's interesting to hear that your tobacco mix didn't get any stronger. Does anyone know how this compares with Amanita? I've never smoked it so have no idea. I think there ...

Re: The Ambrosia Society's Fleece
We'll have to think about it. The worst thing that could happen would be we try and get a test done and then get people saying the sample was contaminated, it wasn't the right fleece and so on. It will be tricky. Whist testing a fleece might be the ideal way to go, perhaps we should aim to test one ...

Re: The Ambrosia Society's Fleece
These are the conclusions I came to looking into Teeter's work. I very much want to look into the fleece and test it scientifically to see whether it does indeed produce Ibo/Muscimol. Not to doubt you, but just a 'trust but verify' kinda thing. I see a lot of people saying the same as you but have y...

Re: Interesteeeng veddddy interesteeeing
No, I'd not seen that hat. Crazy. I wonder if there has been any cultural transmission of that hat through the ages or whether it's just a coincidence? Something similar to how the Phrygian cap has been passed down to us from ancient Persia via Santa Claus. Yeah, I agree entirely regarding the BS on...

Wiki almost ready! Any suggestions?
Hey all, I've been working away on the wiki and it's mostly done. A few things I need to fiddle with but not too much. To give you an idea of how they will look I've been cloning the wikipedia pages and pulling in and tweaking all the various addons we need to get it looking smart. For example, thes...

Re: Interesteeeng veddddy interesteeeing
I agree regarding the debate as to whether the bowl and artifacts are actually Sumerian (or proto-Sumerian). There just isn't the provenance/ provenience to say one way or the other. On their own they would be idle curiosities. However, the fact that there was European/Asian haplogroups found in tho...

Re: Interesteeeng veddddy interesteeeing
I sincerely believe that mushroom culture was brought over by the Sumerians or similar. This corresponds to the development of the initial architectural technology in South America (presuming some of it doesn't predate even the Sumerians at around 3000BC). My view is that this 'fertility dish' found...
