Are you using chlorinated water? That could cause issues. Maybe they are weak and you aren't sensitive to them. I've taken 15g worth in a tea all at once for minor effects from a week batch before. There are so many variables with these guys. I'm sorry you feel like you wasted your money

i dont think anyone has good or definitive answers for you. I am very curious about transdermal and if my experiments yield anything worth while I shall let you know. Rectal administration I imagine would have some minor risks that would probably only be an issue with continued use in that fashion, ...

If it were me and I wanted more effects I would double my initial dose maybe triple depending on how far I wanted to go I would not more than triple it though

possibly. It all depends on what you are looking for. I personally would experiment until I found light noticeable effects and then reduce dose by just enough to remove them (If I was trying to micro dose that is) if you want noticeable effects well that's entirely different
