Yes, there are some very intersting way for studing about this shroom; histories, tales, cooking etc...

I just plowed through it. Very well written.

Most interesting are the results from a Japanese paper on the use of GAD, glutamate decarboxylase found in unpasteurized curdled milk, as the third filter of Soma. They tested it on a decoction of AM and got a 95:1 ratio of muscimol to ibotenic acid.

I gotta get a cow.

Absolutely worth buying if you have the money. For someone like me who has been fascinated this mushroom since they were a kid , rarely finding satisfying information, me this was the book I've been waiting for that I never thought I'd see. I hope to see more and more!
