Sacred Mead of Poetry: What was in it and what did it mean?

Survive The Jive doesn't conclude that it was Amanita Muscaira in norse mead, but that is largely due to his understanding that it causes only nausea and drunkenness. He clearly doesn't speak from personal experience. Interesting video though.
