AM tea dosage

Post by posterunkowy » Wed Oct 18, 2023 1:04 pm

Hello everyone!
I searched this forum, but unfortunately I didn't find an answer. He also watched videos of Amanita Dreamer, an interview with her https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXcim-BqmZ4 and an interview with Baba Masha https://youtu.be/13Uw67GNyAw and read her book on microdosing. I also ask for forgiveness if I didn't understand something and maybe I'm asking stupid questions, but I am not a mycologist, physician or chemist. Well, I actually found the answer - but I wondered why they differ so much. The idea is to microdose and prepare regular AM tea for this purpose.

AM tea
version found in Baba Masha's book:
-1g of powdered dried cap (or divided into small parts) pour water (temperature 45-50 degrees Celsius) and infuse for 20-30 minutes. Remove fungus residues.
This is the daily dose.

Amanita Dreamer's version:
-Pour 15g of dried caps with water at 72 degrees Celsius and (both ladies agree here) infuse for 20-30 minutes.

I know Amanita Dreamer's argument for measuring portions based on volume and not weight (although this can be circumvented by powdering pieces from many caps), but I am wondering about the dosage itself. 1 gram tea is 100% AM. In the case of tea with 15 g and 250 ml of water, we have one gram in approximately 16 ml of solution. Even assuming that all tea spoons around the world are the same (and they are not - because mine are about 2.5ml, while the US tea spoon is 5ml (https://www.unitconverters.net/volume/teaspoon-to-ml .htm), then to obtain the most commonly used microdose (I am not saying that it is the best, because each organism is different), you would need to drink 3 tea spoons of the elixir (assuming that 15ml contains 1g of AM). What do you think about it? What are the Your experiences?
Thank you all wonderful people!
