Can you still prepare 5 year old Amanita muscaria?
Hi! I heard from one anecdotal source that dried Amanita muscaria can still be consumed for the same potent psychoactive effects years after it is harvested. Can anyone verify this claim? Thanks!

It can work. It definitely effects potency, but still assume stuff is crazy potent until you know otherwise.

Hey ya'll,
I've got a question in this vein. I've got two caps harvested about a year ago, that I dried in the oven, but did not get cracker dry, they have been open to the air since then. So, I basically did everything wrong, but they aren't really decayed or aren't nasty at least. Idk. I assume the safest thing is to just trash them and hope to find more next year, but wondering if you all have any feedback.
thanks
