I'm new to working with amanita and is uncertain about the heat drying best practice. From the "How To Dry Amanita Muscaria" video (https://www.amanitadreamer.net/?wix-vod ... p-kmnu9lth) I get the following procedure:
- Heat dry pre-dried amanita's between 165-195 degree Fahrenheit (68-74 degree Celsius) to convert up to 30% of the ibotenic acid to muscamol.
- The temperature ranges are inconsistent. 165-195 degree Fahrenheit is equivalent to 74-90 degree Celsius, compared to the listed 68-74 degree Celsius. What is the correct temperature range?
- No heat treatment time is listed. How long time should the mushroom's be heat treated?
