Curious if anyone has tried doing a dual extraction of Amanita muscaria?
-- For those wondering what a dual extraction is, it's a hot water extraction, strained and frozen, then an alcohol extraction of the same mushrooms used in the water extraction, then combined a few weeks later (strained of course).
Does anyone know if the alcohol extraction of the Amanita is pulling out constituents that the water doesn't?
I just want to make a good, powerful, most importantly, shelf-stable product to add into honey to make elixirs.
