Ó Fungo - are they often so small, there? They come in different sizes, naturally, but it seems to me these are smaller than I've seen. Lovely, though.
Now that you mention it maybe because of a draught that year ,three or four years ago. Cannot compare with cogumelos from other places as i dont travel very often. But I do remember that year we had very few amanitas in the baldios and parks where they grow next to where i live
Love the mystic halo and incandescent glow they have , sometimes they are very symbolic in how they present like here :
The fruit and the cross :

Yes
These are the beauties that grow near me. I've never found more than one or two specimens in the same area, but the area foraging groups make it sound like they're found everywhere, even in people's back yards. Part of me can't wait till September to start looking!!!

I wonder if I can put out an A.P.B. online without being suspect LOL. "I'm looking for some to photograph" "I'm making crafts from them" "I'm looking for them to make hand cream"...

Better late than never. First time getting my hands on these amazing little things. They smell amazing. Made my first "brew" following Amanita Dreamer's prep video on the youtubes. Came out good, managed to end up with 3/4 cup of final liquid. First dose took 1/4 tsp, started to feel "weird" 30 mins in that came and went just as quick as I noticed it. Proceeded to take another 1/4 tsp an hour n half later after not much else. Woke up feeling great, body was glowing, mind was at ease. I noticed to have slightly less anxiety and be more mellow this week. Not sure if it's just in my head or not but I am grateful to be able to experience this after all the videos watched and reading I did of AM.

Went out with my friend today and we found these just a couple hundred meters from my house. A few bugs apparently beat us to them, but they're still pretty nice I think! Funny how fast they pop up. Walked by the place only a couple of days ago and didn't see a single one.
