my first time with Amanita

Post by Matt » Mon Oct 26, 2020 5:52 pm

So, everything went well. Nothing too trippy to report. I had 1/8 tsp in
a cup of tea at 4:30PM yesterday. No nausea at all, so that was good.
Didn't really feel anything until about 1h 45m later. It was like the
very beginnings of a weed edible where you're thinking, "I
feel....something," but you can't quite put your finger on it. That
lasted for the next 2 hours or so and didn't go any higher than that. We
watched SNL during this time and I don't feel like that experience was
appreciably different than sober. I was then reading for a bit and
started getting very tired. Just a fuzzy, drowsy feeling. Most of my
mind was still awake and reading, but parts of it were just wanting to
sleep. I crashed into bed at about 9:00PM and slept for almost 11 hours.
I must say it was some of the most restful, deep sleep I've had in a
long time. This morning I have no fuzziness or hangover feeling
whatsoever and I'd say my mood and general outlook is more positive than
it usually is in the morning.

At this point would you recommend my next dosage be doubled to 1/4 tsp or something more like 1/8th + 1/16th tsp?

If it were me and I wanted more effects I would double my initial dose maybe triple depending on how far I wanted to go I would not more than triple it though

How on earth do you measure 1/8th of a tsp? That is such a tiny amount.

I mean I usually start my experimentation at 1/4 cup but I tend to not be very sensitive to these things

When using a dropper, you can convert the drops to teaspoon measurements.
There are around 76 drops in a teaspoon. US teaspoons around 98.
