I have read this claim before - That Muscimol is sedative and Ibotenic acid is stimulant - and, after asking some questions on Reddit, I had someone message me saying the same thing.
Is there any truth to this?
Thank you

Ibotenic acid acts as an excitatory rather than a stimulant i think. It acts on the cholinergic and opioid peptidergic systems instead of doing it on the dopaminergic system like stimulants do.TheBlindHarper wrote: ↑Sun Nov 08, 2020 7:29 pmI have read this claim before - That Muscimol is sedative and Ibotenic acid is stimulant - and, after asking some questions on Reddit, I had someone message me saying the same thing.

It acts on NMDA and seems to have an stimulant like effect
