Hi. I am preparing Amanita for the first time(it grows right outside my house in the forest) but I only got and oven. This oven the minimum temperature is 50C so I am drying them between 75C and 80C. My question is, Do I need to keep the door of the oven open? do I need a source of wind/air blowing on the mushrooms so they dry? what happens if I just keep them in the oven with the door closed and keeping it at the correct temperature?
Btw, if the mushrooms are dirty (because of dirt) do I need to clean them up? if that so what is the best approach?
