Hi
I have really bad insomnia.
So i desided to see if amanita could help.
I got mine from the forest in Norway.
Dryed them in the oven at about 50 degrees c. (Warmer just made them boil…)
Then i boiled them for 20 min.
I tried taking a dose of 1g (dried mushroom made into tea). 3-4 hours before bedtime.
It seamed to just make it Even Harder to sleep.
So i figured i got to much ibotenic acid.
I tried again, this time adding lemon to the tea.
But the result is the same… i just have Even greater trouble falling asleep.
It does however have an amazing energizing effect if i take it in the morning, but that was not really what i was after.
I really hope someone can help me with explaining to me what i am doing wrong as i really struggle with this insomnia.

Thank you! I couldnt find the ginger bug reciep but maybe the soma reciep will give the same result? It will be fermented in both cases i think.
Also i think maybe i over boiled them… i will try to make the next batch just simmer.
