Childhood trauma

I just received 15 500mg capsules to begin this journey. My concern is that my wife in her 40s was sexually assaulted as a small child. She claims to not remember much or any of the assault. I am looking for experienced users opinions on if using amanita muscaria will bring back unwanted memories from this event. Could her using this cause more damage to occur as I do believe it still affects her to this day. Thank you.
