“A new online study on the effects of Amanita muscaria is searching for potential participants who have experienced either excessive sweating, excessive salivation, or both, following consumption of A. muscaria (or related psychoactive Amanitas). Short online surveys are being conducted to gather information about these and other cholinergic symptoms that are commonly reported (including chills and blurry vision). Data will be used to develop a better understanding of the mushroom’s pharmacology and its physiological actions.”
