I have been foraging in the south west uk recently and most amanita I find have been munched by one thing or another, are these ok to dry and use? I presume that as I will dry and then boil them this should not be a problem but I read somewhere you should not use them at all.
Also having dried them, some have browning on the gills. Are these ok to use, and I wonder if maybe I should use these up quickly ?
