Amanita pantherina?

Post by Matt » Wed Nov 11, 2020 11:28 pm

I was just browsing through my photo library and came across these photos from a couple years ago. Long before I knew to be looking for these. Do these look like Amanita pantherina?

I agree, Pantherinas are brown.
The ones in the photo look like dried Muscarias to me - baked by the sun.

I'd guess muscaria, if it's of only academic interest. If it were a question of whether I was going to eat it or not, I'd guess pantherina.
